About Jupiter Rising – NEW!!!

amkknw

Jupiter Rising started out as a summer replacement series in July of 2015, for the popular Mantz and Mitchell show, also heard on KKNW, and was only supposed to run two months. Because of its immediate popularity, the show extended its run for three more months, ending in November of that year! In January, Eileen decided to go for her very own show, and that show started, on February 14th, 2016! We also continued with a fabulous co-host, Wynnie Walter – who was fabulous and added a different dimension to the show. Wynnie left us in January of 2018, unfortunately, but has found some brand new avenues to explore.

Jupiter is about all things expanding and evolving in consciousness; we aim to offer a wide spectrum of events during this show.  The aim, always, for the show is to help you understand yourself in a whole new way, and to give you a chance to take a pause, and go “hmmm.”  We will offer a lot of different perspectives; call-in readings, special guests, and different features.

And — now we are now expanding into two hours, every Saturday at 11:00am, starting April 7, 2018. We are extremely excited about this, and hope you are too, the listening audience!

Thank you so much for listening!

Doug Johnston – Co-Host

Doug Johnston is a double Gemini – which would sort of imply that he has had his hands in many areas of life.

And we wouldn’t be wrong.

Doug leads a very full life.  Doug was born in Watertown, South Dakota. Probably because of his rural background, he got his first cow at the early age of seven.  This was an auspicious moment, because that led him to owning more cows, even to this day.  This was the start of his varied approach to adding different abilities to his repertoire.  He had his share of jobs, through out the years, such as an insurance and stock broker, but in between were the amazingly creative pursuits that has added depth and understand to his life.

At the age of 17, he had a near death experience which likely turned Doug onto the spiritual road, and for certain led him into paying attention to the subtle parts of his life that cried out to be developed.  In 1979 he started with his acting career, which eventually led him to do his first movie in 2015.

It would seem that in the early 1990s, he was led to the many levels of expression in creativity.  He started his painting career in 2003, which has led him to exhibiting his artwork in New York city. All in all, Doug is a renaissance man, someone who is very well versed in many aspects of life.  He now works in the Tacoma area as a psychic and has become Eileen’s co-host for the Jupiter Rising show.  You can get ahold of Doug at:  206-769-4924, or email him at:  roastingdoug@gmail.com.
